Director, Bridge Fund Operations
Reporting to the Senior Vice President (SVP) of USF’s In Kind Assistance Corporation (IKAC) and The UNICEF Bridge Fund, the Director will serve as the operational lead for this growing impact investment fund, providing expertise in the areas of financial analysis, process management and investor relations.
Key Responsibilities/Outcomes (include but are not limited to):
- Lead the underwriting and due diligence processes for all transactions including providing clear and concise financial analysis of Nongovernmental Organizations and corporations to determine financial health
- Present underwriting analysis and results to the SVP, COO/CFO and participate in presentations to the IKAC Board of Directors
- Manage the full life cycle of new investments from preparing for initial investor meetings to liaising with legal counsel through the loan closing process
- Manage and support the SVP with investor relations including creation of quarterly investor reports and marketing the fund at industry conferences and meetings
- Work with USF’s financial staff to ensure proper internal accounting and compliance
- Prepare materials for periodic board meetings
- In collaboration with the SVP, liaise with UNICEF colleagues to provide regular communication and ensuring coordination of funds transfer and replenishment
- Act as liaison to socially conscious investors
- Assist the SVP in obtaining new grants and loans to fund the program
- Perform special project work for the COO/CFO & SVP
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting required; MBA or advanced degree preferred
Minimum of seven years of relevant work experience; banking experience required
Strong financial analytical experience in financial analysis and reporting, preferably in a not-for-profit or financial environment
Excellent computer skills with proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint required
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are essential, both written and verbal
Strong presentation skills; must have the ability to present to senior management and outside socially conscious investors and donors
